• A single-span reinforced concrete culvert was removed. A 25 ft. single span pre-stressed, post-tensioned, concrete box-beam bridge was constructed.

• 1.91 kilometers of roadway was expanded from two ,12-foot lanes to five, 12-foot lanes with concrete curb and gutter and storm sewer the full length.
• Traffic planning included temporary lane construction and lane closures and shifts with advance, regulatory, and warning signs, lighted barricades, and flag control.
• Signalization including mast-arm-mounted signals with video detection, internally illuminated street name signs, and uninterruptible back-up power system.

• This road was constructed in three different pavement sections including HMA base crushing and shaping and HMA paving.
• The selected road alignment required replacement of the peat soils in a wetland area with MDOT roadbed soils.
• This project also required construction of a 10-acre wetland mitigation site to cover past and current mitigation requirements and provide
  for future wetland banking.

• This project involved preparation of an environmental assessment, pavement design, storm sewer study, and plans, specifications and cost estimates.
• An existing two-lane 1,800-foot-long roadway was removed and replaced with a five-lane curbed bituminous all-season road, and a new five-lane, 12,500-foot-long curbed bituminous road.
• The project required curb and gutter, storm sewer varying in size from 12 to 72 inches, new traffic signals, diversion of a county drain into the proposed storm sewer system, and various other items based on the standards, specifications and procedures of both MDOT and AASHTO.

Replaced steel beam bridge with concrete box-beam bridge.

• Also performed were topographical survey, hydrological and hydraulic analysis, scour analysis, and all design work including plans and specifications, structure design, programming, and cost estimates, and construction engineering.
